The rub a dub master, Ras Kimono who died on Sunday June 10, 2018 at the age of 60, was on Saturday August 25th buried in his hometown in Onicha Olona, Delta State.
At the burial ceremony were several dignitaries such as the COSON delegation, led by its chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji, the Delta State Commissioner for Youths, representing the Delta State Governor, Gospel star, Buchi, Reggae star and close friend of the deceased, Oritz Wiliki, DJ Gosporella, Righteous man, Daddy Showkey among others.
The burial proper was a private setting, with members of the family stopping fans and pressmen from witnessing the laying of the Rastafarian coloured casket into the ground.
Prior to the burial, the body had on Friday laid in state at the cenotaph, asaba before proceeding to Onicha Olona where another lying in state was held.
