The BAP Productions led "Fela and the Kalakuta Queens" musical play masterpiece brought Abuja to a standstill as personalities from all walks of life thronged the NAF Centre, Abuja to witness history in the telling.
The play which showcases the life and times of the Afrobeat legend and music maestro Fela Kuti and his 27 wives, left residents of the Federal Capital and environs thrilled.
Speaking on the success witnessed at the showing, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, BAP Productions, Bolanle Austen - Peters said "Day 1 here in Abuja has been phenomenal. The feedback has been nothing short of amazing. I am happy to know that the untold story of Fela and his wives is being told, and our work appreciated. I encourage people to attend the other days of the showing."
Fela and the Kalakuta Queens continues to be on display today Saturday June 9 by 3pm and 7:30pm and also on Sunday June 10 by 3pm and 7:30pm at the NAF Centre, Kado (opposite Next Cash & Carry), Abuja.
