Arsenal and Gabonese striker, Aubameyang has suggested via a tweet that he supports Nigeria for the World Cup holding this month in Russia, while also stating that the choice was greatly impacted by the Nigerian Jersey.
Aubameyang who hit 10goals for Arsenal after his January transfer from Borrusia Dortmund will be missing in action at the global showpiece due to his country's inability to qualify for the World Cup.
The striker tweeted from his @aubameyang7 account: "I support Nigeria for World Cup because of my friend @alexiwobi but to tell the truth also because of your @nikefootball kit 😂😂 need one!!!"
