Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng – Njeng known majorly as Skales has opted against
the #GetYourPVC campaign by stating that he doesn’t see any candidate worth voting
for and as such wouldn’t be getting his Permanent Voters Card.
In a
series of emotional tweets, the ‘Shake Body’ crooner expressed great disappointment
in the system and a complete loss of hope in the leadership of the country.
He
wrote: “I’m sorry to say I don’t see any valuable or reliable candidate worth
my vote.. so I din’t bother for that PVC ting..I can only vouch for a few
governors who atleast tried to do the job but presidentially I’m sorry to say
all the list I’ve seen no 1 deserves my vote they all corny.
"It’s d
same people the same circle that are ruining this country that I’m proud to be
from again and again .... c’mon NIGERIA TIME TO WAKE UP NOT AGAINST THE PVC
TING THO but 2019 I’m chilling .... can’t stress myself I lost hope in this
countries leadership it’s very sad..’’
The
tweets instantly generated a lot of mixed reactions with several users accusing
him of ‘not doing the right thing’, to which he quickly clarified his stance on
the subject by saying “And I’m really emotional about this ...the land is green
but the leaders are wack.
“Yea
people go get ur PVC I encourage everyone to do so but as for me I’m chilling.’’
