‘‘NOBODY ON THE CONTINENT IS ON TV, RADIO AND MAKING MUSIC AT THIS LEVEL’’ – VJ ADAMS

Popular Sound City OAP, Adams Ibrahim Adebola known as VJ Adams is delighted at being able to complete and put out his debut album as an artiste; titled – PERCEPTION.

The 12-track album which features several collaborative efforts with big names such as Mr Eazi, Niniola, Reminisce, MI, Becca, Vector, Ice Prince, Mz Kiss, Harrysong, Sound Sultan, among others; has already started to pull in great commendations and numerous positive reviews from music critics.

Speaking on how he combines being a TV personality with being an OAP and an artiste, Adams said ‘I am just living my dreams and that’s what I like to tell people. There are a lot of OAPs who would like to do music, but they can’t because they are scared.

‘It is easy to get comfortable with the VJ Adams on TV because the VJ Adams on TV has made relative success. I earn enough to handle my business – let me keep it that way but I won’t quit what I do to focus on music.

‘I doubt if any artiste has my schedule, nobody on the continent right now is on TV, Radio and making music at this level – that’s how hard I work to ensure I am a success in all I do.’

VJ Adams had in 2016 released his first body of work; an EP titled ‘Pursuit of Happiness’.
