The Lagos State Police Rapid Response Squad has hilariously via their twitter handle notified the public of the arrest of a notorious pick-pocket thief.
The thief with a tattoo 'Osha Ojota' was caught after he picked the pocket of an undercover RRS officer who was on surveillance duty in Ikeja.
Making the announcement, the force wrote:
"Just incase you are looking for “osha ojota”, he’s with us 🚔
"JUST IMAGINE!
"This lad just picked the pocket of an undercover RRS officer on surveillance duty around Alausa Ikeja. He was caught in the act and arrested. He will be spending the nite with us and we will make sure he’s well served 🥣before his transfer tomorrow."
When questioned over what the force meant by him being 'well served' before his transfer, they replied:
"Here in RRS our suspects are well catered for and we ensure that their rights are upheld. We dont detain any suspect for more than 24hrs."
