HOUSE WOLE SOYINKA LIVED IN THE UNIVERSITY TURNED TO A MUSEUM TO HONOR HIM

The house in which Nobel Lauret Prof. Wole Soyinka lived on the campus of Obafemi Awolowo University; Ife has been commissioned as a museum, with Ogun State partnering, former Presdiential aspirant, Oluremi Sonaiya has revealed. 

Sonaiya who contested the 2015 elections under the KOWA Party shared a photograph of the building and described it as "an honour well deserved".

She also stated that she was glad it was happening in his lifetime too. 

Prof Soyinka is a Nigerian playwright, Poet and Essayist. He was awarded the 1986 Nobel Prize in Literature, making him the first African to be honoured in that category.
