Nengi Fubara, the young and vibrant founder of the Ruby Rae Fashion line will be buried tomorrow, August 10, 2018 in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
Nengi, as she was mostly called, died from cancer in the early hours of July 30 in Health Care Global Hospital, India.
Announcing her death, a member of the family wrote via her social media accounts:
"Good day everyone, it's with a broken heart I bring you this sad news,
NENGI RACHEL FUBARA gave up the fight against cancer,she passed on in the early hours of yesterday (july 30th 2018) in Health care global hospital India .
Nengi and her entire family is grateful to you guys for giving her an opportunity to fight,she wants you all to know that she loves you and appreciate the love she got.
She was very positive and determine to win this fight but God knows best.
Her family needs all of your prayers in this time of grief .
NENGI LIVES ON IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER." It concluded.
Prior to her death, she had thanked Nigerians on July 6th for helping her raise the 12.7million naira target which was required for the surgery.
Her death comes as a shock to many, who have thronged her social media pages to sympathize with the family, while also offering prayers for the departed.
