OLUREMI TINUBU INDUCTED INTO NIGERIAN WOMEN HALL OF FAME



Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been inducted into the Nigerian Women Hall of Fame on Monday, June 10, 2019.

Making the announcement,  the senator wrote: "Yesterday, I was inducted into the Nigerian Women Hall of Fame for being the first female Senator to be elected to serve in three (3) consecutive parliaments. 

This is only possible because of Constituents who have continued to believe me and I do not take it for granted."

Reacting to this announcement, the Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu expressed his delight.
 
He said: "Congratulations to our distinguished Senator @oluremitinubu on her induction into the Nigerian Women Hall of Fame by the National Council of Women Society.

Congratulations also to Senators @YAYIAdeola and Bayo Osinowo representing Lagos on the 9th @nassnigeria inauguration."

Senator Oluremi Tinubu was elected Senator in 2012, representing Lagos Central.
