ONE WAY: DRIVE AGAINST TRAFFIC AT YOUR OWN PERIL - DCP DISU SHARES INTERESTING TALE

The Lagos State Police command has continued to warn motorists over habits of driving against traffic, stating that it is against the law, and offenders will be severely prosecuted.

Narrating a recent story, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Tunji Disu wrote:

"A case of stubborn 🐐?

The driver of this bus drove against traffic at OPEBI roundabout.

I personally warned and turned him back. After we left the spot, thinking that we have gone he turned back, drove against traffic at full throttle.

He has been arrested, he goes to court tomorrow."

It should be recalled that some weeks ago, RRS officers on patrol along Opebi Road, Ikeja arrested these two vehicles driving against traffic. The drivers were apprehended and taken to the police HQ and handed over to Lastma where they were charged to court. Both eventually had their cars fortified to the Government.
