On Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at around 11:43am, Music star Tiwa Savage posted a photograph of herself on her social media accounts with the caption: "Growing up I didn’t see many brown skin women to look up to, we changing that narrative now ❤️👑⚔️ " and that seems to have split opinions of social media users.
While those on Instagram have praised that caption and applauded her for paving the way, Twitter users have come out to bash her, claiming her saying there 'weren't many Brown skinned women' is wrong.
